Ricky Balley -de origen jamaicano- fundó este grupo en el Reino Unido dos años antes. Aunque sufrió frecuentes cambios en su formación, Ricky se mantuvo siempre en la misma. Tuvieron algunos éxitos -especialmente en Europa- a finales de la década de los setenta, con esa mezcla comercial de pop-soul, funk y música disco de excelentes resultados.
